Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner – 931 Noir Petrole

Ladies, if you have brown or hazel eyes, you need to stay on this page and read and view the sample. I’m not saying this doesn’t work for other eye colors, but it is a must have for brown and hazel eyes. This is a limited edition eyeliner and I will tell you where you can find it at the end of this article.

When it comes to eyeliners, I usually stick to Marc Jacobs Blacquer 42, MAC Teddy, and a few other staples in black and brown shades. I have dark brown eyes and I don’t experiment too much with eyeliner on an everyday basis, but I do love green (khaki green and dark green shades to be exact). When I saw this dark green eyeliner, I knew I needed to get this. I’ve been using this eyeliner on a regular basis and I’m totally in love with it, and I’ll probably buy it as a backup since it’s still available in some places.

From Hudson’s Bay, “A waterproof eyeliner that creates deep, dark eyes. The line is very long-lasting, waterproof, humidity-resistant and sebum-resistant. Its retractable tip and integrated pencil sharpener are easy to use.

  • A blend of film-formers and waxes in a gentle, comfortable formula.
  • Silicone has a waterproof texture that resists moisture and won’t run.”

This Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner – 931 Noir Petrole is packaged in a classic design. The color is a sophisticated mix of deep black, olive green with a subtle gold shimmer – not a lot in this little eyeliner, is it? The shading is both complex and beautiful, and well worth the effort. The formula is smoother, making application a breeze and less transferable. I didn’t experience any smudging and it stayed on my waterline for almost 8-9 hours, which is a good point for me as most eyeliners start fading or smudging after a few hours of use.

The color creates a strong look, 2 swipes are good to provide some definition to the eyes and 4-5 swipes are good to give me a strong look. I agree that it’s waterproof, it stays on well throughout the day and I have to be extra careful (and gentle) when removing my eye makeup at night. If it makes sense, it still has a bit of a black-green tint on my outer lash line outside of my waterline, which does make my eyes look pretty even in my pajamas. That’s the great thing about luxury brands, and the formula is ophthalmologist-tested, so I don’t have to worry too much about them possibly stinging or leaving them on for long periods of time to have an adverse effect on my eyes. I am in love with this Stylo Yeux formula. These are also suitable for contact lens wearers.

This product retails for $35 CAD (excluding tax) and is still available in Canada at The Hudson’s Bay.
