Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lipstick Review

Lancome L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lipstick Review

Lancome introduces a new ruby-inspired lipstick with a hydrocrystalline bullet tip for precise application, called L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream Lasting Lipstick. The lipstick is faceted like a real ruby and has a creamy, bullet-like texture that creates a defined lip look with just one swipe. The lipstick is available in 14 colors, from the softest nude lipstick to the most intense, brightest red. In fact, this innovative formula contains 25% more pigment than the classic Gold Pure Blush.

I’ve been wearing it for a few days now. I really like the comfort and moisturizing properties of the formula. Its longevity is impressive. The formula is very pigmented and one swipe is enough to give lips intense color and coverage. This lipstick kept my lips comfortable all day long – both with reapplication and after it wore off. The lipstick has a nice creamy and rich texture. This allows it to glide effortlessly on the lips while the makeup takes on a satin finish.

Color

Here are the L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream shades I swatched in this post:

  • 02 Ruby Queen – Brick Red (Warm) Ruby
  • 03 Kiss Me Ruby – Gray Rose Ruby
  • 274 Coeur De Rubis – a yellow-brown nude ruby
  • And finally 481 Pigeon Blood Ruby – Burgundy Ruby

I have tried Lancôme lipsticks before. They are comfortable and beautiful. Moreover, the formulation of these new products has rekindled my interest and love for their lip products.

Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Ruby Cream is a beautiful shade. I tried 4 out of the 14 shades. I’ve been wearing them a lot, so follow me on Instagram to see how I look in these shades.

The shade is beautiful and so is the formula – perfect for fall/winter. The packaging is very classic and elegant. I definitely recommend checking these out.
